Salary: $75,000.00 USD Annually - $90,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
The Senior Staff Designer position requires a highly creative and innovative individual with strong technical skills to lead and support product design and development efforts. The Senior Staff Designer plays a critical role in product design, development, and improvement. They are expected to challenge existing processes and bring innovation to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support product design and development.
• Create 3D models and convert them into 2D drawings.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
• Apply clear communication and presentation skills.

Required Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Creo for 3D modelling.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Manufacturing knowledge, especially in plastic manufacturing.
• Ability to conduct calculations and basic analysis.
• Familiarity with DFMEAs
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Desired Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with FEA tools (Ansys, Abaqus).
• Knowledge of materials science and its effects on design.
• Proficiency in sheet metal design (desired).
