Introduction GLOBAL FOUNDRIES Fab 8 is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Planner to become a part of our state of the art 300mm factory. This position will be located at GLOBAL FOUNDRIES in Malta, New York.

Your Job

• Analyze WIP data to determine supply status and work through constraints or challenges to on time delivery
• Take the lead in Customer supply update meetings and manage strategic customers to both meet their needs
• Coordinate with different MFG segments to ensure smooth WIP flow and on time delivery
• Communicate to the Customer with internal GF teams with topics relating to critical supply needs and advocate for customer needs
• Work with cross functional groups (example: Yield Engineering, Customer Engineering, Turnkey Operations, BTF Operations, Modules, Manufacturing, Sales ) on production and qualification issues
• Utilize MES (spell out) for WIP management and ERP Systems for Order management
• Ensure proper documentation and data integrity
• Take lead in Cross-functional projects for continuous improvements
• Work with IT to identify and improve process improvements and task automation. Drive business process improvements and task automation

Qualifications
Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor Degree and 2 years Supply Chain Planning and/or Production Control and/or Customer Account Handling experience.

• Fluency in English Language - written & verbal -

Preferred Qualifications:

• Practiced in ERP systems (Oracle a plus)
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems a plus
• Excellent Microsoft "Excel" skills (data manipulation/organization, pivot tables, spreadsheet creation utilizing algorithms/functions/graphics)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
• Knowledge of wafer fab and production control preferred
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and core principles (APICS Cert. or equivalent a plus)
• Experience with planning system ( Kinaxis RR a plus)
