Better requires process discipline and simplification
We'll be looking to you to be involved in preparing and analyzing complex financial data for presenting and supporting disclosures in SEC Filings. You will manage portions of the SEC filings on Form 10K and 10Q. You'll analyze complex balance sheet accounts in accordance with GAAP and Western Union accounting policies. You will participate in the most complex accounting projects, such as system implementations and purchase accounting. You will research complex technical accounting issues and write technical memos including conclusions on accounting positions.
For such a detail-driven role, you'll have 3-5 years of experience in public accounting supporting public company clients. You will also have obtained your bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA is strongly preferred. You'll have a strong understanding of GAAP, with the willingness to learn or experience working with SEC filings. You will have advanced system skills with Excel and Word and strong knowledge in financial systems such as Oracle. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, along with attention to detail and analytical skills.

The annual gross base salary range is $71,192.21 -$121,476.45. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.
