Purpose
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for leading the recruitment efforts across various levels of the organization, from executive roles to operations positions. This role demands a strategic thinker who can build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to create and sustain a robust candidate pipeline. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in recruiting for diverse roles, including experience with Affirmative Action Plans (AAPs), and will be a trusted advisor in talent acquisition strategies.
Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities
* Full-Cycle Recruitment:
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for positions ranging from executive leadership to operations roles, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
* Develop and execute recruitment strategies that align with the organization's goals and values.
* Source, screen, and evaluate candidates to ensure a strong fit with the organization’s needs and culture.
* Executive Recruiting:
* Lead the search and selection process for senior-level and executive positions, partnering closely with leadership to understand the unique requirements of each role.
* Build and maintain a network of potential executive candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
* Candidate Pipeline Development:
* Build and sustain strategic relationships with industry professionals, colleges, universities, and other relevant organizations to maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
* Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse talent pool.
* Utilize a variety of recruitment channels including social media, job boards, networking events, and professional associations.
* Affirmative Action Plans (AAPs) & Compliance:
* Ensure all recruitment activities align with the organization’s Affirmative Action Plans and other diversity and inclusion initiatives.
* Monitor and report on recruitment metrics related to AAP goals, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
* Stakeholder Management:
* Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, providing guidance on market trends, candidate availability, and compensation benchmarks.
* Collaborate with HR business partners and other stakeholders to understand workforce planning needs and develop proactive recruitment strategies.
* Recruitment Process Optimization:
* Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, candidate quality, and time-to-hire.
* Leverage data and analytics to track recruitment performance and make informed decisions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with at least 5 years focused on executive-level recruitment.
* Proven track record of building and maintaining strategic candidate pipelines.
* Strong understanding of Affirmative Action Plans (AAPs) and experience ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
* Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive recruitment strategies.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience Preferred:
* Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) or related certifications.
