This role is responsible for leading, overseeing and coordinating automation testing efforts, planning and execution, across business functions to ensure that new functionality/systems are thoroughly tested with a high quality of assurance that any changes to production environments perform as expected to minimize risks associated with the changes.

Accountabilities:

  • Uses the Bank's QA Methodology to help improve the QA strategy and automation efforts.
  • Writes and executes automated scripts, test scenarios and detailed test cases from the requirements/use cases.
  • Balances focus and work between automation and manual testing tasks for new functionality/enhancements.
  • Defines testing estimates, prioritizes testing items according to business criticality and impact and manages resources required to sufficiently perform testing.
  • Designs, develops and deploys advanced automated testing frameworks (Web, API, and desktop applications) that provide reliable and repeatable test results.
  • Documents and facilitates communication and troubleshooting of issues, defects and changes to aid others in quick and efficient remediation and in accordance with QA processes.
  • Oversees planning and testing of application(s) for assigned projects.
  • Partners across QA team to setup testing tools and processes.
  • Performs peer review and provides feedback to QA staff with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Provides subject matter expertise on quality automation.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years working in QA / Software Testing, with at least 3+ years as a Sr. QA Automation Analyst primarily using Java/Selenium/TestNG/Cucumber BDD.
  • 1+ year of experience using test management and automation tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center.
  • Strong experience with testing in capital markets and investment banking domain.
  • Work as part of a team with the ability to influence others and be an agent for change.
  • Ability to learn quickly work efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently, when necessary, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment.
  • Positive attitude and a demonstrated ability to accomplish complicated testing projects with confidence.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to department and company goals.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Architecture, Finance or business equivalent.

Compensation Range:
Annual Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00

This salary range represents the Bank's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank's annual incentive plan.
