About the role:

Sr. Project Manager are responsible for the delivery of the output/product of the program, which will involve managing a portfolio of projects and programs. Coordinate the teams who are working on the various projects. Manages medium to large scale IT projects from beginning to end. Ability to influence and lead team members and others who are not direct reports, along with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment with changing priorities and schedules. This person will be supporting the After Sales and Customer Support Care Group.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all business deliverables are identified and accounted for in the project plan with responsibility and due dates
  • Able to manage two or three projects simultaneously, leading portfolio management for one or more functional areas.
  • Must know the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Continuously monitor and report on project status
  • Manage the identification, documentation, and traceability of business requirements
  • Investigate and document complex business processes
  • Prepare presentations for various levels of leadership
  • Coordinate the input and approval of various project design and decision documents
  • Provide guidance and support during execution of change management activities
  • Developing tracking scorecards and metrics to illustrate status and ownership.
  • Developing milestone reviews for the key milestones and ensures the team is on track to deliver.
  • Track business resources and identify any shortages based on project plans
  • Align cross-functional business and technical teams to help ensure alignment of goals and to help resolve conflicting priorities.
  • Assist Workstream Leaders in managing multiple efforts simultaneously across a broad range of functions, business and organizational units
  • Monitor project progress and consolidate status reports
  • Gain an understanding of program workstreams/projects to be able to assist in identification of issues and risks.

Additional Job Description

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of7+ years' experience in IT project management managing medium to large-scale projects using waterfall, iterative, and agile methodologies .
  • Strong proficiency with MS Project and Office suite.
  • Experience with HP Program and Project Management (PPM) software, preferred.
  • Experience with TFS or AzureDevOps Server 2019, preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Demonstrated and proven in-depth knowledge of project management disciplines (e.g. PMBOK, Schedule, Scope, Quality, HR, Communications, etc.). PMP is a plus, however not required.
  • Experience in managing projects leveraging different software development methodologies, specifically Agile experience is a plus.
  • Strong skills in problem solving, predictive analysis, specifically on software development/deployment projects, resource/staffing management
  • Experience in measuring project success factors with respect to cost, schedule and quality, i.e. product requirements quality, test quality and code quality
  • Practical experience with requirements and test case development
  • Strong experience interacting with business customers and managing expectations
  • Proven work experience working as a Project Manager with a successful project delivery record
  • Ability to work with business interface teams, business leads, development & QA teams, and interlock resource managers to estimate cost and negotiate requirements to minimize project impact
