Senior Product Configuration Analyst

Job Summary:

As a Senior Product Configuration Analyst, you'll play a key role in Delaware Life's growth and long-term success by enabling Delaware Life's products to be sold and serviced on the industry's Annuity Order Entry platform, FireLight. In addition, you will support Annuity Order Entry platform enhancements requested by internal business partners, external distributor partners and industry partners.

As a member of the Sales Operations Team, this role will partner with other Business Quality Analysts to drive change and improvements in the B2B space. The position will actively interface with business and IT intermediaries to understand and meet their needs.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Administer and advance Order Entry platform development standards and best practices.
  • Implement new products and e-Signature on order entry platforms.
  • Modify existing products on order entry platforms.
  • Review platform changes to help determine the impact on Delaware Life's business needs, and test changes.
  • Represent Delaware Life on industry working groups for carriers, distributor partners, and platform vendors.
  • Successfully manage competing priorities and navigate within ambiguity.
  • Maintain accountabilities for all assigned work, provide accurate estimates on work to completed, and provide descriptions of work completed.
  • Communicate status of ongoing work internally within team and externally with clients, where applicable.
  • Provide support to business areas, investigating operational and technical problems/inquiries, and recommending and implementing solutions.
  • Work with various business units to ensure that solutions are produced in accordance with the business requirements and are effectively validated.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5 years development experience with EBIX AN4/AMP, iPipeline Affirm/IFT, and Hexure Firelight platforms, as well as associated tools.
  • 3 years Forms management experience with rules, data mapping, and e-signature tagging.
  • 5 years applied DTCC (I&RS) Service Integration, and ACORD L&A Data and EDI Standards; working knowledge of XML language.
  • Experience representing carrier priorities and exerting influence on the direction of the industry.
  • Detail oriented, with an analytical approach.
  • Excellent problem solving, root cause analysis, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong team leader and results oriented.
  • Experience with deployment strategies in a complex, concurrent development environment.
  • Knowledge of platform architecture and integration with enterprise architecture.
