You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and laws as well as providing expertise on drug safety and medical topics. You are the medical expert advice to ensure proper development and promotion of new products, develops medical product information and stays informed on scientific trends and competition and maintains relationships with target opinion leaders and trains local teams in medical topics. Act as US Medical Affairs TA expert in N&I through in-field activitiesSupport the Brand or launch teams and NAMA TA leadership team in the development of TA, Launch and Brand strategies, as appropriate and compliant Lead Medical Affairs activities in assigned territory along defined local Medical Launch / Brand strategies, as appropriate and compliant Consolidate and communicate trends, market insights, and unmet needs identified in the fieldDevelops and implements territory medical plans with HCPs and KOLs in assigned region, including development of significant, long-term relationships, to ensure the safe and appropriate use of company products by patientsSupport company-sponsored and investigator-sponsored studies (ISS), as requested from time to timeAssimilate, process and share medical information with stakeholders Ensure operational excellence by sharing best practicesComply with relevant trainings and SOPsInteract with Local stakeholders in medical community in TA, with given frequency and pre-defined metrics, as appropriate and compliant Interact with influential members of the medical community (HCPs/external experts) and other healthcare stakeholders (managed care organizations, government organizations, patient groups) within assigned territory and TA, as appropriate and compliantRepresent company at Medical events, programs, meetings and congressesEngage with internal colleagues (Medical Affairs department, Clinical Operations, Commercial colleagues as appropriate, etc.) in developing and delivering and participating in Medical or cross-functional initiatives

Who You Are:

Previous MSL or related pharmaceutical experience preferredSubstantial professional, clinical or research experience in a scientific or related field required (minimum of 2 years)Prior industry experience preferredProduct launch experience preferredKnowledge and experience of methodology of clinical research and Good Clinical Practice preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

Advanced scientific degree (e.g., MSc, PharmD, PhD, DO, MD) Scientific and / or clinical training in area of relevance to position strongly preferred Other advanced degree (non-scientific) and/or business degree/training is advantageous Current valid driver's license

Excellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent presentation skills Excellent organizational skillsExcellent relationship building and networking skillsExpert level of understanding and in-depth scientific/medical knowledge of N&I and company's N&I products and pipelineStrong analytical skillsKnowledge and experience in project managementStrong ability to evaluate publications on scientific content and communicate peer to peer on the scientific content with External StakeholdersGood conflict resolution/management skillsSolid understanding of pharmaceutical and promotional compliance guidelines and regulationsFluency in English (oral and written)Up to 60% travel, including overnight travel, periodic national meetings and may include international conferences
