Position: Senior Manager I, Product Management
Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030
Duties: Responsible for driving the technical product roadmap with a global engineering team for the highly strategic retail space. Define and implement an exceptional, new end-to-end customer experience. Provide thought leadership and innovative vision in a fast-paced, start-up environment. Partner with other product managers, key stakeholders, and senior leadership to ensure the success of new products and features. Analyze data leveraging Cloud SQL, Excel, and Tableau. Align with key stakeholders on the business team to define product strategy. Build and manage high quality product roadmaps based on product vision and strategy. Define and build a world-class customer experience for Walmart Plus members. Prioritize projects and trade-offs for speed to market, performance, and features. Gain support for the strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership. Create product goals and related metrics, track progress, and manage obstacles to achieve product objectives. This position does not supervise other employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Administration, or related area and 5 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Administration, or related area and 7 years of experience in product management.
Skills required: Experience leading project vision and building customer-facing products. Experience programming with SQL. Experience managing day-to-day project communications and contributing to senior executive management reports and business presentations. Experience creating and driving the strategy of new products and features. Experience managing technical product roadmaps to ensure new products and features launch in a timely manner. Experience conducting strategic quantitative or qualitative analysis in a cross-functional enterprise environment in the retail, ecommerce, consulting, finance, operations, or tech industry to support and improve business operations involving program, process, or product management. Experience coordinating or managing cross-functional software development teams for technology integration processes to develop and implement technical products, software applications, or websites using Agile methodology. Experience defining products, collecting requirements, and writing detailed functional specifications including user experience designs. Experience driving consensus and articulating program recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executives. Experience developing go-to-market strategies. Experience developing product positioning and customer-facing messaging. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
