About the Position

As the Senior Manager, H&W Regional People Partner with Walmart, you will be part of a Future-focused world-class people team - delivering value while partnering with the business on digital transformation, talent management, competitive reward practices, and create and sustaining a diverse & inclusive workplace. You will be responsible for supporting, overseeing, and driving the implementation of People and HR initiatives across multiple Walmart Pharmacy and Vision Centers in partnership with Regional and Market Operations Directors.

What you'll do -

  • Develop and build strong partnerships with business leaders while overseeing and executing HR business plans and projects.
  • Act as trusted advisor and provide guidance through curiosity, coaching and leadership.
  • Coach associates and managers through people processes including performance management, compensation, talent review and development.
  • Play an active role in development and execution of engagement and retention programs, associate development, and succession planning.
  • Own and execute key HR and People priorities and programs including cyclical people processes and workforce plans.
  • Drive the adoption, implementation, and change management for people initiatives.
  • Leverage data driven insights that drive credible actions related to the overall associate experience.
  • Travel within the assigned area of responsibility for associate listening, training, development activities and other HR purposes as necessary.

What you'll bring -

  • HR generalist experience with strong fundamental knowledge of HR practices.
  • Experience supporting retail and multi-unit environments.
  • Ability to be agile and to make sense of the rapidly increasing amount of data being generated by individuals and organizations.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to think systematically and holistically.
  • Great listening skills, critical thinking skills, and solution-articulation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • PHR or SPHR or GPHR certification preferred.
  • Bi-lingual skills a plus.
