Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Crime Compliance Investigations to oversee and conduct a range of investigations related to Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing. Reporting to the Head of Investigations Americas, the successful candidate will manage and lead the Special Investigations Group, ensuring effective delivery of the Bank's AML program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Senior Investigators, Investigators, and AML Analysts

• Identify, research, and report suspicious activity

• Formulate and recommend responses to potentially suspicious findings

• Oversee AML investigations in line with US regulatory expectations

• Provide guidance and assistance to Investigation Group members

• Supervise the work of Special Investigation Group members

• Serve on the Investigation Unit's internal Training Committee

• Support the Investigation Unit in effective engagement with stakeholders

Skills and Experience:

• Strong investigative or related experience with emphasis on BSA/AML/OFAC

• Experience interacting with regulators, law enforcement, and auditors

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

• Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation)

• Strong analytical skills

• Good business judgment and strong operational control and risk assessment

Qualifications:

• Law Degree or Graduate Degree in Business, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred

• ACAMS or CFE certification is an advantage.

Expected annual base pay range for the role is $120,501 - $180,751. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
