RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a Senior Java Developer in Tampa, FL.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of Java software development experience
• Experience in Spring and Spring Boot Java frameworks; Other Java frameworks (such as Hibernate, Struts, Swing) are a plus
• Experience with design patterns
• Experience developing Microservices
• Excellent SQL/relational database experience and/or non-SQL DBs
• Experience with Web Services (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.)
• Experience with enterprise application servers
• Knowledge of containers like Docker & Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Continuous Integrations/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• Industry certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional: Java (OCP: Java or OCJP/SCJP), ScrumMaster, etc., are a plus
• Experience with Agile development practices and Scrum ceremonies
• Experience leading a team and mentoring other team members, is a plus
• Post-Covid one should be available for up to 25% travel (we expect it to be less, more like 10%, even possibly none)
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills; Previous consulting skills (i.e., good client management abilities) and being consultative in nature is a plus
