We are seeking a proactive and strategic thinker to join our team as a Senior HR Partner, specializing in IT support. In this role, you will play a critical role in facilitating strategic decisions and ensuring the alignment of HR initiatives with organizational goals. As the day-to-day HR support for our IT leadership team, you will provide insights and guidance on all HR-related matters, influencing at the highest levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to the IT leadership, providing insights and guidance on HR-related matters to support strategic decision-making.
  • Strategic Project Management: Lead and oversee strategic HR projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress. Apply project management methodologies to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired outcomes. Regularly communicate project updates to stakeholders and make necessary adjustments to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Organizational Development: Collaborate with IT Leadership to identify and implement organizational design and development initiatives that enhance effectiveness and drive performance within the IT department.
  • Talent Management: Lead talent management strategies, including succession planning, leadership development, and high-potential employee programs, to support the long-term objectives of the IT organization.
  • Performance Management: Facilitate the performance management process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and feedback within the IT department.
  • Team Member Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction within the IT department, addressing any issues that may impact the work environment and overall morale.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the IT department, working to create an environment where all employees feel valued and included.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations within the IT department, advising on risk management issues related to HR practices.
  • Advocacy for HR Centers of Excellence (COE) Strategies: Advocate for and facilitate the adoption of HR Centers of Excellence strategies within the IT department, partnering closely with People Operations to execute HR plans efficiently and leverage technology to streamline processes and empower staff.
  • Matrixed Organization Navigation: Demonstrate adeptness at working within a highly matrixed organization, coordinating effectively with key HR colleagues and other stakeholders to drive initiatives forward. This role requires an exceptional ability to navigate complex organizational structures, ensuring seamless collaboration and integration of HR strategies across different units.
  • Organizational Pulse and Storytelling: Maintain a deep understanding of the IT department's pulse, capturing the essence of employee sentiment, organizational dynamics, and workplace culture. Communicate these insights compellingly to the IT leadership, providing both narrative and data-driven analysis necessary to inform strategic decisions. Offer proactive recommendations and solutions to continuously elevate organizational performance, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and fostering a culture of excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience, preferably within Human Resources or customer service, with at least 3 years in an HR role supporting senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, compliance issues, and best practices in HR management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in organizational development, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
