We are one of the top 10 of the AmLaw100 and we are looking for a Sr. HR Generalist to join our team in Silicon Valley. Seeking someone with at least 4-6 years of HR experience, ideally within a law firm with benefits, timekeeping, policy implementation, interviewing, hiring, training and development and CA labor law experience. Hybrid role (2 days in office).
What You Will Be Doing You will be in charge of offering a range of human resources services to lawyers, paralegals, and staff members, including, but not limited to, staff training and development, timekeeping for staff and paralegals and associated payroll monitoring, policy interpretation and implementation, and giving out fundamental benefits information.
- Maintaining connections with important office and firm departments, such as the local Attorney Recruiting Department, the Global Benefits Department, the Global Human Resources Department, the appropriate regional Payroll Department, and local resources from the Associates & Paralegal committees, are among other important duties.
- Suggesting applicants to the hiring manager after completing preliminary interviews with prospects discovered by the company's staff recruiting department.
- Supervising new hire orientation for the employees and paralegals. Activities are being designed inside the workplace to support new employee integration over the first year of employment in order to meet the company's goals for new hire retention.
- The best local resources for employee training and development should be identified, and training programs should be put in place in collaboration with the human resources manager.
- Maintaining contact with every employee on leave of absence to ensure a smooth return to the organization when their return is eligible.
