General Description / Primary Purpose:The SEIR's primary responsibility is to develop and leverage strategic relationships deepening sport industry connection to UNF's sport management program, promoting value-added benefits for our strategic partners, and driving new revenue opportunities for the advancement of UNF sport management. The Senior Executive in Residence (SEIR) will be an appointment for an individual who has extensive sport industry experience and is highly successful and knowledgeable in the sport management field.
Job Function:Essential Functions
The SEIR will devote the majority of their time to assisting with the development of sport industry partnerships that lead to the following possible outcomes:

Job Function:Teaching and/or supervision of interns in Field Experience:
The Dean, in collaboration with the Department Chair can make adjustments to this assignment as needed.

Marginal Functions:Assist with other projects and initiatives in the university and community as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
This position requires either (a) Master's degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization and two years of experience directly related to the job functions; (b) Bachelor's degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization and four years of experience directly related to the job functions; or (c ) 6 years of direct experience.
