SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DoDAF Enterprise Architect to join our team and support the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in their mission to develop and deploy innovative solutions on a resilient global network. As a Senior DoDAF Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in integrating and delivering research, design, and development of Enterprise Architecture products, primarily using the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF). You will work closely with USSOCOM and other key stakeholders to ensure the alignment of technology solutions with the organization's strategic objectives. This is an opportunity to contribute to the national defense mission and support USSOCOM on a global scale.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess and maintain current DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access and NATO and ACCM read-on.

  • DoDAF Certification

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Understand and maintain compliance with existing Enterprise Architecture (EA) through new requirement development using the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and other key DoD/Joint architecture planning instructions.

Provide overall situational awareness of DoDAF, Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems (JCIDS), and SOF Capabilities Integration and Development Systems (SOFCIDS) to the Enterprise.

Understand USSOCOM strategies, missions, roles, and functions to perform mid- and long-term Enterprise and strategic C4 planning.

Create and maintain capability architectures at the Tactical Operations (TO) level.

Support the development and assistance in Big Data, data handling, data processing, and related issues across the enterprise.

Collaborate with Development Security Operations to ensure the security of new developments, particularly in enterprise Cloud efforts.

Provide guidance and support to junior Enterprise Architects and other team members.

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions for the enterprise.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of technology solutions into the enterprise.

Produce high-quality documentation and reports to communicate architectural designs and recommendations to stakeholders.

Collaborate with the Government and contractor teams to ensure mission needs are met and new technology solutions are implemented effectively.

Provide technical customer support for developed applications and projects, including troubleshooting and resolution of escalated functional problems.

Stay current with DoDAF, JCIDS, SOFCIDS, and other relevant architecture planning instructions to ensure compliance and best practices.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, preferably in a DoD or government environment.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and other relevant architecture planning instructions.
  • Experience with Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems (JCIDS) and SOF Capabilities Integration and Development Systems (SOFCIDS).
  • Proficiency in Big Data, data handling, and data processing technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and security practices in the context of enterprise architecture.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
