Alteryx Inc. is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for our Data Connectors organization. Data Connectors is focused on providing a seamless and simple connection experience for the wide array of Alteryx-supported data sources (file formats, databases, etc.) including the cloud SaaS data sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with local and offshore development teams
  • Troubleshoot any pipeline failures and perform RCA; Improving CI/CD pipelines
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable CI/CD infrastructure for our products
  • Assure availability, stability, and cost-efficiency of all development systems
  • Continuously improve current infrastructure and tools
  • Partner with development teams to deliver ongoing releases using continuous integration tools

Requirements:
  • 3+ years hands-on experience as SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure engineer
  • 2+ years experience programming in Python, C++, Go, JavaScript, Java, .NET, or another modern programming language (Python preferred)
  • 1+ years experience with containerization and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Molecule, or Packer
  • Experience with CI/CD technologies like Gitlab, Jenkins, and their maintenance
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP; Cloud integrations.
  • Relational database management system (RDBMS) configuration experience
  • Ability to break down and discuss technical issues and solutions with non-technical team members
  • Experience with revision control systems including branch, merge and tag strategies using Git
  • Willingness to work in an agile environment with a collaborative team
  • Willingness to learn and try innovative approaches
  • Willingness to learn and use other scripting/programming languages
  • Readiness to participate in testing and support testing activities, with emphasis on automated testing
  • Frequent communication with multiple time zones - willingness to participate on occasional meetings at early or late hours (due to time difference)

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $101,700 - $172,900. Compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
