Our client, a fast-growing independent Pharma advertising agency, is looking for a Lead Developer for a permanent position. This role begins remotely ASAP. Candidates must be local to NYC.
What you'll be doing:
Partner with the internal agency Account, Creative and PM teams, as well as, with Client and Vendor Development teams
Advise on the translation of UI/UX design/wireframes into code that supports the visual elements of web applications
Advise on development best practices to bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation
Drive development across single page web apps, backend and database management, native iOS/Android mobile development, iVAs for Veeva CLM and integration with SalesForce, banners and email
Scope projects in partnership with the internal and client teams to ensure proper team allocation
Gather all requirements to ensure projects cover all needs
Plan across all architecture needs
Build code and libraries that are reusable for future use
Ensure that all UI/UX designs are feasible
Act as a lead resource, advising on best practices
Other tasks may apply
6+ years of Development and some advertising agency experience
React and Vue experience is nice to have but not a deal breaker
Strong understanding of Design Patterns (MVC, MVVM) OOP, Functional Programming and best practices for coding
Advanced experience with web/mobile architecture and responsive web design
Experience with Database Systems
Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and workarounds
Familiarity with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX and WebSockets
Experience with native mobile development across Swift and Kotlin
Knowledge of languages or platforms like .NET, Node.js, PHP, Java or Python
