Sr. Compliance Analyst

This position reports to the Compliance Manager and supports the Legal, Finance & Human Resources functions in auditing compliance with various contract, client, and regulatory requirements as well as supporting various reporting functions and privacy compliance.

Essential duties and job responsibilities include the following:

• Assist Compliance Manager with internal contract compliance auditing including High Risk Contract reporting, onboarding requirement audits, and mark-up compliance auditing and follow up;

• Background check and on-boarding compliance auditing, analysis and reporting;

Assist with client contract compliance audits, annual COI renewal distribution, and Construction & Property health and safety compliance;

• I-9 compliance auditing;

• Assist with logging template contract terms in CMS;

• Work with Privacy Officer in managing privacy-related matters, including:

o Coordinate tasks on privacy related projects, maintain a project plan, update spreadsheets and follow up with others on outstanding items;

o Work with internal departments and service providers that collect, store or process personal information to gather requested information or to relay a valid deletion or correction request;

o Research requests from data subjects and determine appropriate action including response to data subjects' requests;

o Maintain records of records and disposition;

o Make recommendations regarding policy or process changes

• Assist Finance & Accounting team with internal and external audits, as assigned;

• Assist with department projects, as assigned;

• Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in auditing, including experience auditing compliance with processes;

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or related field;

• Successful candidate must be flexible and adaptable in an ever changing environment;

• Ability to work effectively with front- and back-office teams;

• Must possess solid written and verbal communication skills;

• Strong attention to detail;

• Demonstrated analytical, organizational and critical thinking skills;

• Strong desire to ask questions and learn;

• Ability to raise issues in a proactive and timely manner;

• Ability to work independently;

• Regular job attendance and timeliness/punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in a fast paced, production oriented environment

• Staffing or business/consulting services industry experience strongly preferred

• Knowledge of the privacy law framework in the United States or Canada preferred

• Experience dealing with personal data information requests from data subjects preferred
