Job Summary:

Creates and delivers communications content for audiences that include Cat dealers; participates in the planning and execution of communications programs within the Cat Digital organization.

What You Will Do:

  • Developing and distributing content for dealer communication channels, including catdealer.com, presentations, newsletters, and Sharepoint sites.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and advising on the suitability of approaches for communication efforts targeting Cat dealers with a clear and consistent Cat Digital brand message.
  • Communicating with effectiveness and confidence; building strong working relationships with dealers and internal business partners to drive continuous improvements.
  • Gathering strategic insights on the dealer experience; designing communications plans with this journey / experience in mind.
  • Tracking and analyzing metrics to measure the effectiveness of these communications on catdealer.com and other digital channels, then reporting the results.
What You Will Have:
  • Strong writing ability and proven experience creating and delivering communications content across a variety of platforms, including websites, newsletters, SharePoint sites and presentations.
  • Extensive experience ensuring stakeholders, such as dealers, are informed of the communications content and tools that are available to them.
  • Expertise to proactively align messaging and communications with corporate brand standards while helping establish and communicate a consistent brand message.
  • Proven ability in collecting Voice of Customer, Stakeholder or Dealer feedback to understand their needs, struggles, and end goals.
  • Extensive experience developing and delivering change management and communication plans for internal and/or external audiences.
  • Ability to explain the impact of interactions with stakeholders, which may include business partners and dealers.
  • Building relationships and mapping dealer journeys to deliver a continuous communications improvement cycle and the ability to measure and report progress.
  • Collaborates well with cross-departmental associates and management, engendering trust and partnership.

  • This position must be based out of our Chicago, IL; Peoria, IL or Dallas, TX office with a flexible hybrid work environment.
