Primary Duties:Under general oversight from the College Dean, the Administrative Analyst/Specialist administers the financial and personnel resources of the College of Engineering; consisting of 7 departments, 3 centers and/or programs, with approximately 160 number faculty, staff and student employees and a complex baseline budget totaling $8.5 million annually. The incumbent works closely with the Dean, Associate Dean and Chairs/Directors to align resources with the College's strategic and operational goals and to ensure the college is compliant with Federal, State, System and institutional policies and procedures for fiscal and personnel actions. This position oversees budget allocations for all departments within the College, participates in strategic planning for the college, and is expected to take initiative, work independently and be accountable for work results in planning, organizing, analyzing and reporting. Additionally, this position works collaboratively with managers and staff in the Divisions of Academic Affairs, Business and Finance, Regional and Continuing Education, Human Resources, Information Resources, University Advancement, Student Affairs, Public Affairs, and Auxiliary Organizations to advance the interests of the College.
