RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, one of the best and largest real estate companies in the world, is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant in New York, New York (NY). Summary: This is a company that is known for promoting its top performers and moving them around the company into different functions. As a Senior Accountant, you will also work in a world class property development company with world class benefits. Work schedule will be the rare hybrid work schedule in the industry - with 2-3 days per week work from home. Responsibilities include:

• General ledger
• The Senior Accountant will prepare financial statements, journal entries, and work papers
• US GAAP
• Support audit
• The Senior Accountant will be reporting to internal and external parties

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a must; Advanced degree a plus
• CPA a plus
• 3 years or more of Accounting or Audit experience
• Real estate industry experience a plus
• Public accounting experience a plus
