Senior Accountant

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Salary: 65k - 80k + bonus

* Hybrid work schedule

Overview:

This position will assist with the preparation and review of financial statements. Will have month-end, GL maintenance and reporting responsivities.

Duties:

• Prepare required monthly journal entries and daily cash transaction
• Maintain monthly accruals and prepare related journal entries.
• Maintenance of GL and financial forecasting models.
• Perform "budget to actual" comparison financial analysis
• Timely & accurate monthly financial report preparation for multiple joint venture arrangements
• Modeling and forecasting current and future financial activity.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Prepare account reconciliation schedules, bank reconciliations, and supplemental schedules.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of related accounting experience
• JD Edwards preferred software
• Strong Excel skill a MUST (proficiency with Pivot tables and V lookup)
