RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Security Infrastructure Engineer in Tampa, FL.Summary:The Security Engineer will participate in the planning of the security related services and seek opportunities for process improvement. The security engineer will contribute to the efforts to solve complex security problems and perform daily administrative support.Duties Include:- Security Infrastructure Engineer will be developing, reviewing, and approving the installation requirements in internetworking environments including LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related network devices
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware
- Deploy, execute, and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems
- Monitor systems and networks for security breaches, intrusions, irregular behavior and set up preventive measures
- Production support and administration of Firewall, DMZ, VPN, Load Balancer, Endpoint Protection and Data Loss Prevention services
- Identification of security vulnerabilities and assist in the formulation of mitigation plans
- As a Security Infrastructure Engineer, you will actively audit the infrastructure, identify security problems, and prioritize the fixes
- Conduct security code reviews
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and incident reviews
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of security experience working with major firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.)
- Expertise in support of firewalls (Palo Alto, VMWare NSX, VPNs (Palo Alto, Meraki, B2B&B2C), application load balancing (NetScaler, F5), digital certificate administration, data loss prevention (Netskope), multi-factor authentication (Duo) and end point protection (Sophos)
- Strong experience in encryption and tunneling protocols (PKI, IPSec, SSL VPN, TLS, IKE, IKEv2, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of compliance and management (SCCM, Big Fix)
- Understand application protocols in context of OSI network layers and content inspection (Load-balancing, WAF, IPS, IDS, etc.)
- Understand baseline security requirements and platform hardening principles
- Have good analytical mindset for problem solving under stress and time pressure
- Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
