Job Description

  • Understand business processes and provide IT solutions to business problems
  • Configure and maintain SAP S/4 Logistics modules Transportation Management (TM) and SAP IM, covering carrier management / ground transportation, TM scheduling and processing, warehouse management, Sales shipments, and deliveries
  • Analyze integration needs with the following: 3PL services, SAP LBN, SAP IM HU (handling units), STO's, SAP EWM
  • Mentor and provide knowledge transfer to our India based SAP Application Management Services (AMS) team, also the internal LW team where needed
  • Gather business requirements for the SAP S/4 environment and document them into business requirement documents, user stories, and functional specifications
  • Elicit and document requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis
  • Identify, define, document, and solve problems or situations that require attention or improvement
  • Analyze, design and champion software solutions thru configuring SAP
  • Guide consultants in configuring SAP to solve business issues
  • Translate requirements into technical solutions for developers
  • Developing functional, integration, regression, and stress test plans for software supported
  • Create and update system, user, testing and training documentation
  • Manage project, enhancement, and defect work, from the request and requirements stage through build, test, and deployment

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, management information systems or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience supporting SAP Logistics modules including interface experience with Core S/4 HANA modules
  • Experienced in SAP Logistics complete life cycle from business requirement definition, through design, build, testing, training, technical documentation, and delivery to production
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with translating requirements into technical solutions for developers.
  • Some travel required - 10-20%

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $84,020.00 - $126,020.00
