Job Summary:

Responsible for Sales Leadership and managing outside sales team growth within BAS Division which includes owner direct sales focus. Sales activities will include development of BAS retrofits, projects and service agreements. Additional activities may include small construction projects as well.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Leading Sales Team in Preparing and delivering technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers. Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements. Individual must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years in BAS experience, including proven success in owner direct sales activities.
  • BA/BS Degree in marketing, engineering or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Technical background, including field experience, is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills, resulting in the ability to manage multiple client relationships and prioritize time and resources accordingly
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • In-depth understanding and "hands on" experience with any or all of the following systems - HVAC, electrical, building automation/controls, boilers, air conditioning and/or chillers
