The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound initiatives. Candidates should be prepared to meet aggressive goals, be creative, comfortable engaging prospects, and be self-motivated. We find candidates who understand how to assess a company's needs and cater their outreach to each prospect specifically, tend to be highly valuable. They also build positive relationships with their clients to find success.
SDR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Respond, engage and qualify inbound/outbound leads and inquiries
* Educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales teams
* Build relationships with current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence
* Schedule appointments and demos
* Act as the subject matter authority on product offerings/solution development skills
SDR REQUIREMENTS
* Validated business development success through effective use of core sales tools: Salesforce, DiscoverOrg, LinkedIn, Tableau, OpsCon, Google Apps, Microsoft Office
* Proven ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
* Understanding customer problems
* Strong and professional interpersonal skills -- written, verbal, presentation
* Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of teams without necessarily taking the lead
