RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Risk Analyst II in Reno, NV.Summary:Our client is seeking a highly skilled and engaged Risk Analyst with a passion for Fraud and Financial Analysis. They must be passionate about evaluating financial stability of small business to stay one step ahead of financial losses, identifying fraud risk using key data indicators and investigation, while protecting and minimizing the impact for our customers. The Risk Analyst will have an understanding of financial risk behaviors and patterns, financial records; such as invoices, balance sheets and bank statements, fraud indicators and investigations is mandatory for this role.REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in risk mitigation within the payments industry (3-5 years preferred) with the ability to identify the behaviors and signs of risky financial transactions or accounts
- Excellent research and investigative skills
- Proficient use of technology with exceptional internet research skills
- * Ability to make independent and sound decisions and think on your feet in a dynamic environment
- * Ability to partner and work seamlessly across the team to effectively document and share problems, opportunities, and solutions
- CFE certification is a plus
- Must be able to work overtime as well as Saturdays and some holidays
- Data entry skills
- Knowledge of fraud behaviors, financial risk, and credit card disputes to understand potential Merchant risk behavior
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
