Overview
The Retail Buyer and Merchandiser works directly with the internal Brand & Sales teams in the conception, development and implementation of the event specific product plans/assortments. They will be play a critical role in ensuring that Key Performance Indicators are established and maintained with each of our clients. This individual will also work directly with NCAA Vendor Licensees on brand/product opportunities to complement our established in-house, vertical product assortment decisions . The primary responsibility of the Retail Buyer and Merchandiser is to develop unique , volume and inventory sensitive product assortments for 850+ NCAA Championship events , ranging from retail sales of $1,000 to $2,000,000. These product assortments should meet or exceed Event One's top line sales, margin and inventory goals. This individual will be the key driver behind e-commerce business opportunities, they will help in the development of merchandise assortments and web base sales platform. Along with building the assortments, this individual will be the lead individual in developing and directing floor/space plans and on-site presentation/merchandising plans . The individual will also support the Event 1 team with on-site event management , including key event set-up/teardown , staff support , and the overall E1 commitment to delivering a successful , positive athlete and fan experience . Lastly they are expected to establish and foster communication directly with clients and external vendors.
