Job Overview:

Resource Management has an opportunity for a Resource Management Senior Coordinator. This position is a home-based opportunity.

The Senior Coordinator will liaison between Operational Groups and Resource Management aligning Resources to Operational Demand. The role involves training across respective businesses on Resource Management Processes and guidance/coaching of those process to ensure compliance.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Cross business partnership on demand projections against current resource levels and advisement on appropriate requisitions
  • Works with key stakeholders, business leaders, and line managers in interpretation of resource data and reports
  • Assist in developing Resource Management strategy that supports business unit objectives
  • Ownership of assigning resources to unmet demand. Responsible for utilizing all available tools and resources to make the recommendations for the best employee to fill demand. High through-put process for assigning resources
  • Accountable for ensuring Resource Management technology is up to date with the most accurate supply and demand data.
  • Review key Resource Metrics with appropriate personnel within the supported Operational Group(s), showing resource forecasting, utilization, availability and other reports as required.
  • Matrixed participant of operational group, attending all meetings, appropriate training or other essential functions to support the group.
  • Publish reports for recruitment providing projections of future demand variations to ensure accurate forecasting of future sourcing needs
  • Other duties required to support the position, group, and department.

Education/Qualifications:

University / college agree or certification from an appropriately accredited institution

  • In lieu of the above requirement, candidates with five (5) or more years of relevant clinical research resource management experience in pharmaceutical or CRO industry may be considered
  • Good understanding of the clinical trial process

Experience:

Minimum Required:

  • Minimum of six (6) years of professional experience
  • In lieu of above requirement, candidates with five (5) years of clinical research (pharmaceutical research or contract research organizations) may be considered
  • Strong ability to work within a project team
  • Strong planning, organization and problem solving ability
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and effective time management
  • Ability to work with all levels of personnel
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good understanding of resource supply / demand principles
  • Works efficiently and effectively in a matrix environment
  • Excellent computer system and database knowledge and advanced MS Excel skills
