Responsibilities

Baker Tilly (BT) has an incredible career opportunity for an Associate to join our growing Resource Management team! In this position, you will work closely with Managers and Partners to ensure engagements are staffed appropriately, collaborate across firm functions and within the internal team, and build relationships with resource management team members to ensure effective and efficient allocation of resources. What You Will Do:
  • Be a trusted member of the Resource Management team within People Solutions, manage and execute resource management processes and operational support for an assigned population. This includes:
    • Facilitate scheduling of resources to appropriate client assignments based on timing, travel, levels, skills, and other necessary requirements
    • Use scheduling tools to forecast hours, track utilization, and monitor overall headcount, chargeable hours, and overtime, and travel to ensure work is fairly distributed
    • Ensure staff profiles and schedules are accurately maintained in the scheduling database, making necessary changes on a recurring basis
    • Generate and analyze resource management reports, including availability reports, billable hour forecasts and actual vs scheduled variance data
    • Build relationships with client serving personnel at all levels through effective communications and a high degree of professionalism
    • Gain understanding of the skills, experiences, and career goals of professional staff to ensure optimal client assignments alignments
    • Collaborate with other teams with Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Operations to plan for and address flexible work arrangements, performance management, and workforce planning, while delivering full-service support to internal clients
  • Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs
  • Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Two (2)+ years of related experience; professional services experience preferred
    • Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
    • Provides exceptional internal client service, professional demeanor and handles confidential matters with discretion, adapts and takes initiative, strong project management, organizational and analytical skills
    • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred
