CUMULUS MEDIA | Westwood One| New York, NY is looking for afull-time Research Operations Analyst. The full-time Research Operations Analyst reports directly to the VP, Business Systems & Affiliate Operations, and will work closely with several departments within Westwood One including Affiliate Operations, Traffic, Affiliate & Ad Sales Research, and Sales Planning. The analyst will work individually and with team members to support the various business systems that utilize radio listening data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining centralized tools and templates - specifically updating affiliate station lists used to generate audience summaries targeting various demographic segments
• Compile and analyze quantitative ad-hoc research support for ad sales, programming and affiliate distribution
• Develop analyses and reports that communicate data in a clear and organized manner
• Proactively brainstorm and problem-solve process driven needs
• Assist other business operations team members as needed

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a research or business discipline role at a media, agency, or direct advertiser preferred
• Experience working on a cross-functional team supporting various operations leaders and project managers or in a related business function at a network radio company a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Media, Communications or related field
• Proficiency working with large datasets in Excel/Google sheets - ability to distill and format for ease of use
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
