This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As a Research Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • • Integrate state of the art solutions for large scale processing of cardiovascular images
  • • Advance current models for automated anatomy and physiology characterization of cardiac structures
  • • Develop prototypes showcasing the use of AI techniques to increase the value of cardiovascular imaging in various clinical scenarios
This position may suit you best if you're familiar with the following and would like to develop your skills

with Siemens Healthineers:
  • • Hands on coding skills with knowledge of Python, C/C++
  • • Experience with physiological modeling, scientific computing and knowledge of mixed AI+computational modeling approaches for the study of the heart
  • • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program

• Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)

Start date: Summer 2024
