Basic Job Functions:

• Provide the leadership team with timely, high quality and accurate financial information and insight on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Act as point of contact between functional leaders and accounting team for questions and needs
• Own budgeting and forecasting processes by monitoring production schedules and coordinating with functional leaders
• Provide department heads detailed monthly expense tracking including variance explanations
• Assist in the creation, administration, and calculation of sales incentive and commission plans including monthly accruals for accounting
• Maintain reporting of non-financial KPIs (safety, headcount, scrap %, OTD, backlog, plant utilization, etc...)
• Support the accounting team through contributing to month end close processes through analysis on reserve and accrual balances and ad hoc reporting
• Develop and maintain financial reports in accounting and other systems
• Assist in development and implementation of change management activities related to system implementation
• Assist with business cases for capital expenditure and outsourcing projects for approval
• Support, track, and report continuous improvement and sales initiatives
• Additionally, teammate will be responsible for various other accounting tasks & functions

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or applicable field

2 years' experience in financial reporting role

Preferences:

Advanced Excel skills

Experience with PowerBI, Microstrategy, Hyperion or other business intelligence tools

Experience with JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP reporting packages
