*Requirements: *Leadership/Management experience + a strong background in software/Data Engineering using tools such as Spark, AWS, and Scala (or Python, Java, etc.)

What You Will Be Doing - Manage a team of engineers to scale our data platform and architecture
- Collaborate with leadership team and play a role in company direction and product releases
- Oversee backend services team
- Hire and mentor engineers
What You Need for this Position 10+ years in data/software engineering
2+ years of leadership/management experience
- Scala (Or Python, Java, etc.)
- Spark
- AWS expiernece - Redshift, Lambda, EMR, etc.
- Stream Data processing
- Data Lake, Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, etc.
- Big data
- Data structures, algorithms, distributed computing, etc.
- SQL
- Microservice Architecture
- BS/MS in CS, Stats, etc. is desired
