We will be looking to you to direct and deliver 360-degree communications strategies and execution across all initiatives designed to successfully raise the company's profile internally and externally across the Americas region. You'll serve as a communication business partner to senior leaders within our Payments, Enterprise Partnership Commercial Development, and Product and Platform functions. You will leverage a wide range of tools, strategies, and tactics to deliver positioning/messaging, talking points, speeches and provide strategic communications counsel and direction to leaders, leading on all in-region media activations and overseeing representation of leaders on influential speaking platforms. You will support issues and crisis management and work collaboratively with the wider Global Communications and Social Channels teams, which also includes regional leaders for the Europe and CIS, Middle East and Africa and, Asia Pacific regions. You'll act as the main lead for our consumer communications Agency partner and support the development and execution of global corporate affairs, communications, and thought leadership initiatives as needed.

For such a pivotal role, you will have 10-12 years of experience in corporate communications and media relations in the Americas region. You will have strong interpersonal skills, that include being well versed in interacting with and influencing C-Suite executives and senior leaders. You'll have the ability to operate strategically and tactically to deliver end-to-end communications project management. You will have excellent communication skills that include critical and strategic thinking, attention to detail and, the whability to extract complex language into catchy soundbites. You will be fluent in English and fluency in other languages such as Spanish and Portuguese is a plus. Previous experience of agile working methodologies is also desirable.

The on-target earnings range is $159,085.50-$265,142.50, which includes a base salary of $113,632.50 -$189,387.50, short-term (20% of base), and long-term (20% of base) incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, flexible time off, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
