Job Description

The Receptionist greets visitors and maintains visitors' logs, answers and correctly routes calls, responds to internal and external inquiries, and distributes accurate information. They may also perform some administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms and receiving and sending mail and packages. The Receptionist will also help to complete security procedures such as issuing badges or visitor passes.

  • Greets visitors and issues visitor badges as needed.
  • Directs visitors, and callers to appropriate parties and answers basic questions.
  • Answers and correctly routes and / or transfer the calls; takes accurate messages.
  • Maintains security awareness.
  • Liaises with building management and other vendors as needed to ensure proper services and repairs are performed
  • Performs computer data entry.
  • Manages inventory of office supplies
  • Sorts and delivers mail received and sent by and to the office.
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle all general maintenance of office including stocking of coffee rooms and machines and copiers
  • Performs other duties applicable to the job as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School or equivalent
  • 0-1 years of general work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in office related position
COMPUTER SKILLS
  • MS Office Suite - Intermediate user proficiency
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES
  • Effective communication, written and verbal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in team environment and maintain professional behavior
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and flexibility
  • Must have a sense of urgency
