Job Description

Lasko Products, an industry leader in the design and manufacture of portable fans and heaters for over 100 years, is seeking a Receptionist to join our team. As the Receptionist you will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to customers, visitors, and other guests of the organization. You will also be responsible for:

Job Duties:

  • Supervise temperature taking and completion of COVID intake form
  • Greets customers, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each persons visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
  • Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
  • Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
  • Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
  • Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
  • Review reports and contact HR if necessary
  • Handle all incoming phone calls
  • Handle all outgoing mail
  • Order postage when necessary
  • Create certified letter labels
  • Create Fed Ex labels
  • Distribute faxes
  • Review BOL and update spreadsheet
  • Mail invoices
  • Vouch International wire payments
  • Pull invoices for auditors
  • End of year file transfer to storage
  • Create new file folders
  • Print Receivers
  • Vouch AP Invoices

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
