Responsibilities

Under the direction of a qualified physician and the Imaging Services Manager or designate, this position incorporates all the duties of a staff radiologic technologist.

• Produces radiographs in accordance with standards established by supervising radiologist and documented in the department procedure manual with consideration given to Age-Specific needs and concerns of the patient.
• Provides proper technical factors on an individual basis, including the neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.
• Selects and operates equipment as directed.
• Exhibits safe work habits and reports safety hazard

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Completion of formal Radiologic Technologist training at an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school.

Experience:

• 1-2 years experience as a Rad Tech (Preferred)

Licenses/Certificates:

• Must be ARRT Registered
• Maintains appropriate CE credits as per the ARRT.
• Current CPR for HealthCare Provider (BLS) Required.
