Position Overview:

The Novelis Kennesaw team is seeking a Portfolio Analytics Lead. The person in this role will report to the Director, Portfolio Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, creation and maintenance of analytics, dashboards, charts and reports related to the Global R&D portfolios. By these tools, this position supports multiple teams, in accelerating project execution through better and faster decision making.
Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Enhance the Project Portfolio Management structures and processes
• Lead system design and configuration of portfolio management software (Accolade) to maximize user adoption, efficiency, and business impact
• Identify and implement any enhancements to structures and processes, particularly with a focus on automation
• Enable data-driven insights and decisions for the regional R&D leadership on portfolio execution, resourcing, and budget through dashboards and analysis
• Serve as the subject matter expert for BI and analytics, providing thought leadership, innovation, and guidance
• Provide analytics to support prioritization, resourcing and overall portfolio management, leveraging a variety of platforms (Accolade, PowerBi)
• Effectively interface with 3rd party development teams
• Guiding the creation, structure, and design of the Accolade roadmaps, in partnership with the GTD teams, as well as the development of composite roadmap views for Global R&D, MMP, R&F and Sustainability and others
• Leverage roadmaps to support prioritization, communications, execution, and overall portfolio impact

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, or related field
• 5+ years in data management or analytics role, experience working directly with senior leadership within a global organization
• Data fluency - ability to create KPIs using available or calculated data
• Working knowledge of data architecture
• Software configuration - comfort/ease in learning new system configuration through hands-on learning, training and help documentation, facilitate interconnectivity between data sources through various medium, including API
• Effective communication to build consensus, foster collaboration, communicate insights
• Innovative mindset with the ability to effectively share and communicate ideas and insights
• Subject matter expert for analytics and BI

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Data Science, Information Management, or related field
• SQL and XLM
• Change management
