Position Description:

Job Purpose and Scope: Performs operational, credit, and compliance reviews of community banking, including tracking the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of credit related matters records and efficiency of operations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs operational, credit, and compliance reviews of Community Banking policies and procedures
  • Performs reviews within the determined scope of testing.
  • Documents and updates review processes.
  • Assists in enhancing and updating policies and procedures of Community Banking
  • Reviews exceptions, internal controls, operational efficiencies and other recommendations with Community Banking management.
  • Prepares detailed reports to be reviewed by Community Banking Management manager.
  • Monitors exceptions and tracking reports as assigned and report outstanding issues to Quality Control Coordinator as identified.
  • Performs special projects as requested by management.
  • Assists Bank's internal and independent auditors and regulatory examiners in their respective audit or examination procedures.
  • Exercises discretion and sound judgment in the performance of the other essential job functions.
  • Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.


    • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Competent verbal and written communication skills and professional maturity to discuss complicated issues.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and with exacting deadlines.
  • Ability to work under general supervision.
  • Sound independent judgement
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, accounting software and databases.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.

    Position Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • One to two (1-2) years of work experience in a financial institution, required.
