Job Title: Psychology Registered Nurse

Duties & Responsibilities: Psych RN sought for 13 week assignment, with the potential to extend. Schedule would be 3x12 night shifts, with every other weekend and 1 holiday per winter season required. Patient population is all adult - 100 level are depression and suicidal, 200 level are severe mental illness, and 300 level are mix of both. There is a small detox unit as well. 40% of patients are voluntary admissions and 60% of patients are committed patients (temporary 8 days then transferred). Facility is fast paced, traveler may have to deal with aggression with some physical holds, but there is no IV or Wound Care. Duties will include med cart, med pass, admissions, discharges, and 10-15 daily patients assessments.

Minimum Requirements:

• VA or Compact RN license
• 1 year recent psych experience
• Handle with Care certification required but can provide that onsite if needed
