Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services' (DHHS) Lincoln Regional Center (LRC) is searching for a talented MD for our Psychiatrist position. LRC is an inpatient, 250 bed, Joint Commission-accredited state psychiatric hospital which is run by DHHS located in Lincoln, NE. LRC serves people who need very specialized psychiatric services and provides services to people who, because of mental illness, require a highly structured treatment setting. Hiring rate of position: Negotiable

Location of position: Lincoln Regional Center, 801 West Prospector Lane, Lincoln NE

Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5; Rotating on call nights and weekend approximately once every 2 months
Examples of Work
Under limited supervision of the Medical Director:

• Develop, direct and coordinate the overall psychiatric care and treatment plan of assigned patients through observations and treatment sessions
• Analyze the best medications or therapy to help patient reach their goals
• Participate in medical staff meetings and appointed committees.

Qualifications / Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: M.D. degree and license to practice medicine in Nebraska. Completed an ACGME approved Psychiatric residency program and board certified or board eligible in psychiatry.
