Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Warehouse Systems is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Project Manager II. The responsibilities for this role include, and are not limited to, managing the day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements, and performs estimates and reviews proposals. A Project Manager II will also need to possess mechanical aptitude with the ability to complete basic mathematical calculations, effectively communicate with customers and end users, and apply our methodology and enforce project standards.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years' experience in the Racking/ Supply Chain industry or Commercial/Industrial construction.
- Ability to read and understand construction and fabrication drawings.
- Must be able to travel up to 80% of the job.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Design Software such as AutoCad (preferred, not required).
- Bachelor's degree in business, design, construction management or comparable experience
- PMP Certification; or relatable project management certifications
