Description: Project Manager

The project manager leads and one or more small and medium sized project(s) and is accountable and responsible for managing the assigned programs/projects, to meet the business objectives of the initiative successfully and understanding of the business objectives for the project(s).

Primary Responsibilities

• Develops a complete understanding of the business objectives for the project(s)
• Identifies all required activities, tasks and inter-dependencies, and developing a project plan for and schedule each initiative
• Organizes program/project work into sub-projects and project tracks as needed
• Monitors progress, and prepares, reviews and shares meaningful project status reports periodically with all key stakeholders, project resources, and contributors
• Manages milestone plan
• Verifies deliverables and milestones are completed with quality
• Budget Management
• Facilitates and ensures timely, comprehensive and audience-relevant communication among all project resources and involved parties throughout the lifecycle of the initiative
• Maintains business/internal customer involvement in design choices and changes throughout the course of the project
• Pro-actively monitors, highlights and facilitates resolution of potential project risks and issues
• Manages change control aggressively throughout the project
• Provides input/justification for changes in project cost and timeline impacts

• Leverages the lessons learned from previous engagements to improve the level of program/project management on next initiatives; provides input into the PMO process framework
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience Project Management: Principles and methodologies, industry best practices, and end-to-end Project Management Life Cycle
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelors
• Application development project management experience (Waterfall, Agile)
• Exceptional problem solving and communication skills (written and verbal)
• PMP certification a plus
• 3 -5 years' experience required.
