Responsible for managing all technical aspects of assigned projects.

• Manage all technical aspects of multiple and/or major projects utilizing the Product Planning and Development Procedure.

• Designs, validates, provides test reports and sign-off documents, and ensures production readiness.

• Coordinates with CAD, FEA and laboratory personnel and interfaces with other departments in support of the above.

• Coordinates the technical design and test aspects on projects with suppliers and customers.

• Provides continuous improvement through employee development, process improvement and elimination of waste. Helps to assure safety in the lab and office.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

• Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline required.

• BSME/BSAgE/BS AeroE preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in vehicle structural design (preferable heavy or medium duty truck) with exposure to dynamic structural analysis, finite element analysis, fatigue analysis, and product design.

• Demonstrated product innovation.

• Electrical or brake experience a plus.

• Project management experience preferred.
