What You Will Be Doing - Assist on-site Project Managers and Superintendents in managing the construction of projects, working in conjunction with other field staff to ensure quality and timeliness
- Participate in general contract and subcontract administration, including review of subcontractor applications for payment, change proposal pricing and supervision of field installations
- Oversee construction scheduling, material and equipment procurement, systems coordination, shop drawing and submittal review coordination and project cost review/report
- Manage, direct, coordinate the subcontractors compliance with the Contract Documents as delegated by the Project Manager
- Cost analysis & cost at completion calculations
- Assist with the scopes of work, bid package development, and help solicit subcontractors and suppliers
- Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws (e.g., OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc.)
What You Need for this Position - Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field of study
- 1+ years of General Contractor-level experience in construction (preferably, with experience on ground up wood frame, podium, and other Type I projects)
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the general and subcontract documents, drawings and specifications, construction means, methods and materials.
- General knowledge of construction principles/practices required
- Proficient computer skills with programs including MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, or other similar construction management software
