Overview

Iconic sportswear apparel brand, HanesBrands, is looking for a Project Coordinator to work with the KC Image Lab graphic design department. The Project Coordinator is responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects in flight. To succeed in this role, the candidate should possess excellent time management and communication skills. The role collaborates closely with their core KC Image Lab team and works jointly with external New York Design teams as well as with Winston-Salem Product/Merchandising teams. This role focuses on both Champion and Hanes brands. A glance into the accounts the Project Coordinator helps to manage: Foot Locker, Finish Line, Urban Outfitters, Pacsun, Hibbett, DTC (Champion stores and Hanes stores), Macy's, Kohl's, Dick's, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project calendars, update weekly status reports, and communicate status to their teams
• Ensure resource availability for on-time project delivery
• Follow up on overdue deliverables and approvals
• Work with immediate team members (creative designers, merchandising artists) to create and communicate a project timeline, set goals, and determine what elements are needed to complete the project. In turn, the same open communication and informative nature is mirrored with external team members in New York, Winston-Salem, and with domestic/sourced vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to work in a remote dynamic team environment
• Highly organized
• Demonstrate experience in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and be able to work independently while also collaboratively
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and ability to think strategically
• Having a good understanding of apparel decoration is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 on a Macintosh platform
• Comfortable working in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat on a Macintosh platform
