Job Description:

This position is responsible for collaboratively supporting a project team which is responsible for managing an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) initiative. They will support a DoD entity with administration and coordination initiatives.

Duties include (but are not limited to): internal and external project and client reporting, formal meeting minutes recordation / dissemination, briefing / presentation development, client updates and Action Items tracking, knowledge management maintenance and administration, short-term, high-priority project management and/or coordination, project management assistance, such as drafting charters, requirements gathering and documentation, scheduling, tracking milestones, and peer-reviewing deliverables, and daily operational support to project manager and program leadership, as needed (e.g., calendaring, meeting scheduling, agenda-setting, corporate back-office coordination, etc.).

Candidates must be able to use critical thinking to pinpoint key details and communicate with mission partners effectively and assist with program integration into intelligence and operational mission environments. Responsible for assisting the Project Manager, technical teams, and partner agencies/companies with limited oversight of more senior positions to swiftly develop solutions in an agile environment and deploy capabilities to the operational end user. Travel: 10% travel may be required, CONUS and OCONUS.

Required Skills:

  • Must be a US Citizen per contract requirements.
  • Ability to obtain a Top-Secret Security Clearance.
  • Current or pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in systems engineering, computer science, Information Technology, Financial Management, or Business Administration / Management preferred.
  • Current Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level 1 / II certification (Security+, CCNA Security, Network+ or A+); a highly qualified candidate which does not have the certificates will be expected to obtain within 90 days of onboarding.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and O365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with business, delivering impactful solutions and presenting work in a concise and thoughtful manner, while demonstrating technical expertise (fluency in English is required).
  • During high-tempo operations, can relay and articulate information to varying stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Autonomous self-starter with a passion for analytics and problem solving.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas to and interact with customers, management, and peers with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • The ability to operate in a fluid, high operational tempo environment.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to change directions rapidly when required.

Desired Skills:
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Prior project team/project management experience (e.g., planning, requirements, financial management, documentation, client reporting, quality control, scheduling, etc.).
  • Experience executing data projects in DoD environment (highly desirable).
  • Current Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certifications.
  • Experience working with cloud technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, etc.).
  • Experience with data engineering, structure, formatting, conditioning, and analysis.
  • Experience with database tools and current data science processes.
  • Experience with a broad base of analytics tools and methods.
  • An interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to large and small audiences.
