Position Summary

ITT is seeking individuals to operate in a fast-paced, high-energy, start-up environment to launch new sustainable products to market with accelerated commercial success. Flow machines (pumps, fans, compressors) are one of the largest consumers of energy on the planet and account for approximately 35% of global electricity consumption. ITT is developing new technologies in electric motors, power electronics and smart connected devices that reduce energy of flow machines as much as 50%. You will part of the founding team of this new venture with opportunities to grow into key leadership positions.

The Program Manager oversees the fulfillment of high-level program initiatives that align with organizational strategic goals. This position coordinates activities between multiple projects with or without directly managing them. This position manages the main program, giving detailed attention to program strategy, project delegation, and program implementation. This position has a large responsibility to ensure that all the team members understand how to work together and coordinate their efforts on the way to a larger goal. S/he will coordinate with senior leadership, internal teams, external partners, 3rd party certification and government agencies to achieve program goals.
Essential Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for the assigned program to stay on schedule and on budget
  • Be accountable for delivering against established program goals
  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and schedule
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external project meetings
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
  • Produce program reports for management and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and assist in negotiating contractual agreements
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding and training new employees
  • Coordinate and assist in recruiting customers for field trials
  • Develop and manage budgets up to $10M
  • Travel < 30%
Position Requirements
  • S./M.S. degree, in engineering, business or related field
  • 5+ years in an advanced management role (preference given to those with program management experience)
  • 5+ years in project management
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing (preference for electric motors, VFDs, converters)
  • Project management
